Good afternoon, hope this message finds each of you doing well. Beau and I arrived at the hospital around 6:00pm this afternoon ,we had a great time going to school ,checking on the dogs and just spending time with one another, but we were also wishing we were with Momma as well so we were both very happy to get back to Dallas to see our Momma. After spending some time talking with Leslie, I was able to get a good idea how her day went so let me share it with you. The day started out with OT for a full hour, then PT was next at 10:30am, then later in the day came ST at 1:00pm then PT again at 1:30pm, finishing up the day with OT..... Leslie said all of her sections went real well. Leslie said Mimi did a little cheer during one of her OT sessions. Leslie also said she was just tiered after all the days activities, she also said they gave her some homework to do over the weekend, the word homework brings back many unpleasant feelings for me and my school days ,but I am ready to help my wife with this task. I am sitting in Leslie's room right now looking at her peaceful sleep she is in, it is a beautiful thing to watch, my daughter is also on her little pallet we made for her here in the room, besides for the dogs and cat, our family is back together tonight for the first time in what seems like an eternity. Thank you Father.... I asked Leslie about her Pain and she showed me a new pain patch that they put her on today, it seems to be working very well, but Leslie said it does make her a little loopy. When we arrived at the hospital the first thing Beau wanted to do was get into bed with Momma, Leslie said having Beau in the bed with her was the best medicine she had all week .
Today was the first time Leslie wanted to look at the Blog herself , although I have shared with Leslie many of your comments and prayer over the past several days, she was very touched reading over many of your prayers, comments and uplifting words of encouragement. Again we cant thank each of you enough for the love you have shown our family during this storm in our life .
