Jeff asked me to update you on Leslie's status. He will try to provide another update this afternoon. For now, the focus of Leslie's treatment and prayers is on stabilizing her blood pressure.
Leslie ate some broth this morning. The physical therapist began working with her arms and legs. She progressed well. She continues to experience some headaches, which could be a result of the medication she has been taking or high blood pressure. Other than that, she is not experiencing any other unusual physical pain and the C-section surgery recovery appears normal. There is a possibility Leslie could be moved out of ICU into a regular hospital room later today. It is still important that she have as little stimulation as possible and Jeff asks that you not schedule any visits at this time.
The family appreciates your continued prayers and well wishes. They have read your comments and appreciate the outpouring of support.

To Momma & Daddy,
ReplyDeleteI got my bath and used some bath confetti that I got for Christmas! We are getting ready to leave to take our movies back to Blockbuster and get a couple more! Not sure why we don't go to Blockbuster at home - guess it's a city thing - but I learned about renting movies instead of buying them!
At first I didn't like that I had to take the movies back -- until I learned you could get more! Kinda neat!
After blockbuster -we are going to that blue castle place that I really like - to eat pizza and play. I'm really excited about that! I hope the blue castle is really fun today and I hope that you are feeling good momma! And... you too daddy!
I'll let you know how I'm doing later... but for now... I'm doing really great and I miss you and love you bunches!

Hey Lela,

I've also got quite a few "tennesseeans" praying for you as well, haha, probably never thought you'd get those prayers, huh? Also I hope all the family is doing well and feeling some peace about this whole situation, just remember that God is good! I love yall and hope to see you soon.
Love,
Trent

Hi Momma & Daddy,
ReplyDeleteWe just got back from the blue castle and I had so much fun there! I went bowling and got 85 points! I got to play alot of games there, but the gorilla game was my favorite and I won 349 tickets!
I got to to shopping with my tickets and bought a pink stuffed dolphin, a pink bracelet, a ring, and a pink barrel-o-monkey's key chain. I ate lunch there too and watched Yogi bear while I ate my pizza, salad and carrots - and I had a root beer too.
We went to blockbuster afterwards and I got a couple more movies. One called Monkey trouble, and another one is an American Girl Doll movie.
We are going to have chicken and rice for dinner tonight and we got some of that lime yogurt that i like so much at the store.
I've had a very fun day today and I've had a very happy day today as well (except for one small episode when I broke my new pink bracelet - not good!) We are hoping that we can fix it somehow.
I love you and miss you!

ReplyDeleteWe are winding down for the night. I ate really good and ate up all my chicken, rice and some french bread and some orange. I had some more of that lime yogurt that I like too.
We talked today about going home tomorrow and to school on Friday and I'm very happy about that! I'm looking forward to seeing my friends at school.
I'm being a big girl - but I really miss you and love you a whole bunch!
